In 2014, I stumbled upon a musical tapestry that expanded my mind and opened doors to new frequencies, igniting a curiosity within me that felt infinite. Nicolas Cruz, then known as Nicolas X, wove a jungly fairytale land through his set, a healing frequency that resonated profoundly.
At that time, I found myself in bustling Dubai, caught in the whirlwind of a fast-paced life. The set, like a magical interlude, made everything pause. It was a moment of stillness, a break in time and space that urged me to question the vast unexplored realms within myself.
Revisiting the set in 2018, its remastered version, I realized its profound impact on my journey. It accompanied me through various stages of life – shared with friends during vibrant evenings, embraced in the solitude of my own space, or as a soothing backdrop to my solo adventures and picnics outside. The frequency was a constant, always welcoming, and never disruptive.
This musical odyssey prompted me to delve deeper into my understanding of music, questioning the very essence of the tones and rhythms that resonate with my soul.
